Why NASA has sent us to 'search' Venus is beyond me. There is no oxygen, basicially the atmosphere is made of carbon dioxide (97%) and there are droplets of sulfuric acid in the clouds. It is extremely hot (hot enough to melt lead) and the surface temperature is 90 times stronger then that of Earth. If you stood on it within seconds you would be crushed by the pressure, burned by the heat and suffocate because there isn't any oxygen. So basically we came all this way and NASA spend millions of dollars so that we could look at it from a safe distance away.
